ExakTime Unveils ClockPoint Connect for web-based time and attendance

Multi-platform time and attendance system expands to office professionals

CALABASAS, California – January 11, 2011 — ExakTime today introduced ClockPoint Connect, a web-based solution that lets Internet-connected users easily clock in and clock out from any desktop or laptop web browser.   

Whether employees are hourly or salaried, business owners can now easily track architects, estimators, project managers and other office professionals as they work. ExakTime’s new solution expands The ExakTime System to track any number of workers, work locations and job activities out in the field and back in the office.

"ClockPoint Connect allows business owners to use The ExakTime System to track all of their workers – no matter where they are,” said ExakTime CEO Tony Pappas. “Workers out in the field, on the road and in the office can be accounted for at any time."

While ExakTime’s other solutions are intended to track workers at remote locations, ClockPoint Connect is designed to easily track work in the office as it happens. Workers can clock in and out on any Internet-connected PC or Mac computer or laptop by visiting ClockPoint Connect’s website. Users enter their username and password on the home screen and then pick their job location and their job activity. Just like ExakTime’s JobClock and PocketClock, workers use green to clock in and red to clock out – fast and simple. A confirmation box will appear after each time punch, validating that the information was processed by the system.

ExakTime’s time tracking software collects records from JobClock, PocketClock and ClockPoint Connect, so users can use any device out in the field or back in the office. All records will be reconciled and organized into clean, accurate reports for review.
