How it all began.
In 1999, I was fed up with getting ripped off. I showed up at a job site, and no one was there. But on Friday, I got the usual batch of handwritten time cards.
40 hours.
Bad news for me, but I had to pay.
So I got together with my friends...and we built a better mousetrap - the JobClock.
We started selling a few here, and a few there - and before we knew it, we couldn't keep it on the shelves.
One thing I know that hasn't changed in the last 14 years is this: Labor is a precious and costly resource.
You can bury your head in the sand, do things the old way and frustrate yourself every week with paper time cards.
Or you can manage employees well, pay for hours they actually worked and run a successful business.
Construction is part of our past and our future, but we've expanded into many other industries: Landscaping, oil and gas, snow, mining and more.
