Welcome to the first installment of Team ExakTime’s App of the Month, a monthly blog series in which we will report to an app that we’re currently loving.
We’ll be asking ExakTime team members to continue sharing their favorite apps with us over the coming months. They can be games, utility apps, or really any app that helps them unwind or get the job done.
Our July team pick is SkyView® By Terminal Eleven. Here’s a little of what the app’s about (paraphrasing Google Play):
You don’t need to be an astronomer to find stars or constellations in the sky. SkyView will guide you to their location and identify them. SkyView uses your camera to precisely spot and identify celestial objects in sky, day or night. Find your favorite constellations, locate the Moon, discover distant galaxies, and witness satellite fly-bys.
Here’s what one of its fans, Finance and Human Resource Director Karen Williams, had to say about it:
“I love this app. You can identify stars, constellations, satellites, etc. by pointing your device at the sky. User tip: point your device at the ground to see any cool celestial sitings on the other side of the planet.”
Another fan (we swear they’re not being paid by SkyView!) was Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Linda Paustian, who said this:
“My favorite app of all time is SkyView. It helps me locate stars, constellations and other celestial bodies in any part of the world.”
SkyView and SkyView Free are available from the App Store and Google Play.
